Independent Banker Magazine Recognizes

FNB Bank as 2017 Marketing Leader

Mayfield, Ky. (Sept. 2017)—Independent Banker® magazine, the award-winning monthly publication of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), today named FNB Bank, Inc., a Marketing Leader in its 2017 Social Media and Marketing Leader campaign, recognizing the community bank for its creative use of marketing to build awareness and engage members of its community.

“We’re honored to be recognized in Independent Banker magazine for our marketing efforts that have allowed us to further connect with our customers and the community at-large,” said Brooke Wiles, Marketing Director at FNB Bank. “Our website and featured videos illustrate the human element in the close relationships we’ve developed with our community partners in western Kentucky.”

FNB Bank featured the videos on its Facebook page, which showcase the area’s local business community and has bolstered the bank’s presence online.

“Congratulations to FNB Bank on being recognized by Independent Banker magazine. FNB’s employees understand that focusing on the human element in their marketing outreach not only increases brand awareness, but also builds and solidifies relationships with local businesses and customers,” said ICBA Group Executive Vice President, Member Engagement and Strategy Chris Lorence. “The bank should be proud of its creative and innovative efforts. They are a shining example of the power of community engagement.”

Nearly 100 community banks submitted social media and marketing campaigns for the 2017 Social Media and Marketing Leaders. A panel of judges evaluated submissions based on creatively, engagement and impact. This is the fifth year Independent Banker has acknowledged community banks for their social and marketing outreach. Webb Mason Marketing in Hunt Valley, Md., sponsored this year’s program.
