Production Supervisor

Overtime is required for this position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production of plant equipment to engineering specifications into highly quality products; ensures that equipment and buildings are sanitary and in good repair.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Maintains efficient and timely flow of all production
Responsible for scheduling production runs and personnel
Responsible for minimizing the time and cost of each job, while producing quality products
Responsible for maintenance and the equipment used to manufacture equipment; maintain and assure preventative maintenance schedules.
Responsible for shipping, receiving, loading, and inspection of all manufactured products
Responsible for being familiar with and observing all Company safety rules and regulations, recognizes safety as top Company priority and conducts regularly scheduled safety meetings.
Conducts investigations of accidents that occur and makes recommendations to Plant Safety Committee.
All other duties as assigned.

Detail Oriented; highly organized
Ability to deal with problems involving equipment and personnel
Ability to provide leadership and training to personnel
Good communication skills both oral and written
Team player; works well with others; ability to supervise small groups.
Self starter; self-motivated.
Knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing procedures
Good math and computer skills.

Physical Demands
Frequently required to Walk, Stand, Sit, Climb, Balance, Stoop, Kneel, Crawl, and Crouch
Frequently required to Push, Pull, Move, or Lift up to 100 lbs.
Regularly required to Reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment
Job Functions will be carried out in a plant, outside on grounds, or in an office environment.

Applicants must have at least a High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Applicants must have at least 3 years experience
Applicants must be at least 18
Applicant must 1 - 2 Years Prior Experience with Management
Applicant must Minimum three (3) Years prior experience in a manufacturing environment
