How you will impact Ingevity:
Ingevity's Wickliffe Carbon Plant will be hiring chemical plant entry level operators. Applicants will be selected to fulfill current need and to fill an Applicant Pool for future needs as they become available.
The job will consist of, but not be limited to:
Operate chemical plant equipment
Operate plant machinery
Clean up and general equipment maintenance
Responsible for raw material loading and unloading, including bulk material
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Maintain a safe and environmentally compliant area
Continuous standing, sitting, walking
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to climb/descend steps
Ability to kneel, squat, or crouch while doing clean up
What you will need to succeed:
Two years of manufacturing industrial or related experience or two years of equivalent college training.
Excellent technical aptitude with the ability to learn and multi-task.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Drug testing, background, physical, and reference checks.
Work Keys Assessment is also required and scores must be submitted when applying, with a minimum score of four (4) or better in the following categories: Workplace Documents, Graphic Literacy, and Applied Mathematics. Work Keys Assessment can be taken at the following locations:
