We are currently looking for an effective, knowledgeable, and committed Logistics Manager to oversee and conduct data analysis to improve our logistics operations. This is a critical role in our organization, charged with increasing efficiency and reducing costs. Our ideal candidate will have a highly analytical mind and a strong business acumen directed toward a commitment to optimization and efficiency. 
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are non-negotiable skills for this role. Exceptional management skills, approachability, clarity in giving direction and delegating responsibilities, and an ability to see the big picture will ensure success in this position. Our overall goal is to find the right person to help our logistics department run as smoothly and profitably as possible. 

Logistics Manager Duties and Responsibilities 
• Oversee creation of processes and methods to gather logistics data 
• Process data, identifying problematic areas and suggesting improvements 
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills 
• Design and implement necessary logistics optimization projects 
• Develop requirements and standards (e.g. procurement, shipping, etc.) 
• Analyze, optimize, and oversee inventory procedures 
• Commitment to uncovering the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules 
• Assess supplier operations (e.g. raw materials, serial production materials, freight, etc…) according to quality benchmarks and standards 
• Foster strong partnerships with other businesses 
• Work with IT professionals to implement efficient systems (SAP) 
• Track KPIs and generate reports for logistics performance 

Logistics Manager Requirements and Qualifications 
• BS/BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a relevant field 
• Significant work experience as a Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Analyst, Logistics Coordinator or another similar role. 
• Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting 
• Proficient understand of all levels of the supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management) 
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) 
• Analytical mindset coupled with a strong business acumen 
• Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Outstanding organizational and management skills 

Applicants preferred to have at least a Bachelors degree or equivalent
Applicants are preferred to have had at least 2 years experience
