Job Description

Ingram Industries has an opening for a part-time Payroll Coordinator that will be based in our Paducah, KY office and will report to the Payroll Analyst. Through strong collaborative relationships, this position is responsible for administrative and operational support with Marine Payroll. You will also be responsible for processing bi-weekly marine payroll to include direct deposit, taxes, and garnishments.

What you'll be doing:

Marine Payroll Maintains payroll and personnel files

Prepares, updates, and maintains payroll records and files in PeopleSoft, OnBase, etc.

Payroll data entry and reporting:

Federal and State W4

UI with Department Changes

Direct Deposit Entry

ACH returns

iPay Lock

Sell Days

General Deduction


Additional Pay Entry

Year End Audit of files

Conducts or assists the payroll presentation for marine new hire orientation.

Back-up to Switchboard as needed.

Other duties or special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

What we're looking for:

1 year of payroll experience required; will waive HR experience for a strong internal candidate

Associate's degree preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strategic, analytical, detailed, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced, team -oriented environment

Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

Self-motivated and directed
