Event Description:
Saturday November 8th and 15th at 10 a.m. The South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Men's Group invites you to compete in our annual fundraiser Turkey Shoot. NO TURKEYS WILL BE HARMED! We shoot at paper targets using one shell in a 12-gauge shotgun, and we provide the shell. You can use one of our 12-gauge guns or bring your own. Entry fee is $5.00 per round of competition, normally competing against nine other entrants. The entry pot is split with the winner of each round of shooting!!! Funds raised will go to support the Hunters for the Hungry program. The location is approximately 1/2 mile North of Hazel, Kentucky on the West side of HWY 641; LOOK FOR OUR SIGN! (NOTE: In case of bad weather the turkey shoot will be postponed to a later time or date)
