Event Description:
Remington was certified "Trade eligible" by the Department of Labor. TRaC stands for "Training, Re-employment and Career" - the session is an orientation held for workers to get detailed information about their Trade benefits and complete the necessary paperwork for their individual Trade eligibility. This session is important to make sure workers don't miss any deadlines for application to receive services. The paperwork done at the session is necessary to be able to claim your individual Trade benefits and to find out about services without having to make multiple visits to the local career center. This process allows the Trade affected workers to get needed services faster. For anyone that has already been laid off - Following the session staff will assist with filing unemployment claims in the computer lab
