Political Forum & Meal

Murray Woman?s Club is hosting Meet the Candidates, a public forum for 2014 Primary Election candidates. Due to the large number of Primary candidates, only those in contested local races will be speaking. All interested citizens are encouraged to come and see the candidates they will be deciding on in the May 20 election. Candidates will include those seeking the offices of County Attorney, County Clerk, Sheriff, Jailer, PVA, and Magistrate in districts 3 and 4. There will also be a great opportunity to meet and talk to the candidates prior to the forum at a fundraiser dinner to benefit the club?s Heritage Fund. The spaghetti meal at 5:00 costs $5, including a dessert, and the forum at 6:30 is free of charge.
