Paint Your Pet Night

A Paint Your Pet Night will be Thursday, September 29th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Creative Canvas located on the Court Square in Murray, KY. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The cost for the evening is $40 and a portion of this ($5) will go towards the Humane Society of Calloway County Friends of the Shelter Fund. Call 270-761-5850 to reserve your spot. To participate in this evening, email a clear digital photo of your pet to seaversjill@yahoo.com so that the image can be traced/drawn on the canvas. A digital photo is preferred, but a clear hard copy of a photo, preferably a 5 X 7, can be used. Your digital or hard copy photo must be at Creative Canvas no later than Tuesday, September 27th along with your phone number. Any type of pet can be painted. You do not have to be an artist to paint a lovely photo of your pet. Jill of Creative Canvas does most of the hard work by drawing an outline of your pet on the canvas and gives you plenty of guidance to create your 16 x 20 painting.
