Mini-BARKtoberfest & Adoption Event

The Humane Society of Calloway County's Mini-BARKtoberfest and Adoption Event will be Sat., Oct. 31st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.at Tractor Supply in Murray, Ky. As a spectator or participant, enjoy pet costume contests at noon with prizes for Most Adorable, Best Handmade, Most Original, Scariest and Funniest. Pets and their families can have commemorative photographs taken before a festive fall backdrop and DNA test kits which tell the breed mix that makes up your beloved canine companion will be for sale. Meet puppies and dogs for adoption from the Humane Society who are searching for their forever home. Although a more streamlined event than in prior years, this year?s BARKtoberfest is sure to be fun for everyone and proceeds will benefit programs of the Humane Society such as spay/neuter assistance, Friends of the Shelter, Good Samaritan, Dog and Cat Adoption and others. The Humane Society reminds everyone that all well-behaved dogs up-to-date on their vet care and on a leash at all times are welcome to attend. No females in season or aggressive dogs, please.
