Event Description:
The Murray Lions Club is hosting the second annual 5K Trail/Walk to benefit projects for the Murray Calloway County Park. The Murray Bank is the named corporate sponsor again this year.
The trail will include new paved paths around the Bee Creek Soccer Complex as well as paths through the wooded areas of the park.
The event is scheduled for Saturday October 4. The run will start at 8 am with registration beginning at 7 am. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in seven male and female age categories.
The registration fee is $25 which includes a T- shirt if registered before September 19. This year to encourage more youth participation, children 12 years of age and under with an adult registration is only $10.
Registration forms are available at the parks office, Gear Up Cycles, and the north branch of The Murray Bank or online at www.murraylionsevents.com.
